# Enable client verification

Client verification is an additional security method that verifies the certificates used by client browsers.

It is enabled and configured in Web DDoS: [Instances / TLS Settings / TLS Verify Client](/product-guides/web-ddos/interface/instances/tls-settings.md#tls-verify-client).
