# BGP Sessions

### **Name**

Name for a Network DDoS instance, typically correlated to the port used to connect to the customer origin. The name can be configured under the [Edit Network DDoS Instance](#id-infrastructureddos-instances-editinfrastructureddosinstance).

### **Protected Prefix**

List of prefixes protected by this instance.

### **Status**

Status of the instance. Can be active or pending depending on the connection status.

### **Scrubbing Center**

Scrubbing center(s) refer to the Link11 Points of Presence that the customer is currently connected to. It is recommended that a prefix range should be connected to two (one primary and one back up) scrubbing centers at minimum, to increase availability.

### **Type**

Displays chosen Type of Tunnel Connection. A layer 2 connection is recommended.

### **Local IP**

Local IPs are set and provided by Link11. They refer to the internal GRE Tunnel IPs.

### **Remote IP**

Defines the IP on customer side for the tunnel endpoint.

### AS \#

The ASN (Autonomous System Number) of the protected prefix(es).

### **Name of** Network **DDoS Instance**

Defines the name of the Network DDoS instance.

### **Link11 Scrubbing Center**

Displays the Scrubbing Center through which traffic is routed. This setting is configured by the Link11 Operations team during onboarding. In the best case, this is a location close to the customer origin. To change this setting, please contact Link11 Support at <support@link11.com>.

### **Type of Tunnel Connection**

The connection type being used for this Instance

Types of connection are:

* Layer2
* GRE
* Router

### **Local IP**

Netmask is GRE Tunnel Interconnect Netmask and always /30.

Defines the BGP connection configuration.

### **Protected Prefixes**

Here the protected prefixes are displayed. IPs outside the prefixes will not be routed/protected through the Link11 network. To add/change these, please contact your sales representative at Link11.
