## Overview

The User Management page provides a detailed user overview, enabling administrators to review user permissions and important security information.

{% hint style="info" %}
Users are people who have access to the system, potentially (but not necessarily) with the ability to make changes to it. They are distinct from [Contacts](/administration/account/interface/contacts.md), who are people or groups that can receive reports, be notified when alarms occur, etc. The lists might be the same, or they might not; there will usually be some overlap at least.
{% endhint %}

The Users Management page includes relevant details such as the last password change timestamp, the last login date, and the activation status of each user's two-factor authentication. This ensures the security of user accounts, and allows potential security vulnerabilities to be identified promptly.

Link11 integrates with various mobile apps for two-factor authentication. This gives users the option to add an extra layer of protection to their accounts and enhance the overall security level.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Please note that users are not authorized to open support tickets for direct configuration changes. To grant them this permission, please create a corresponding contact under [Contacts](/administration/account/interface/contacts.md) and enable the "Changes allowed" option.

**Important**: if this permission is granted, the user will be able to request configuration changes from the support team **regardless of the Access Rights listed for them here in Users Management**.
