# Reporting

## Reporting - WebGUI <a href="#id-account-reporting-reporting-webgui" id="id-account-reporting-reporting-webgui"></a>

The Reporting Service is responsible for sending traffic reports to the customer. Its primary function is to summarize DDoS traffic statistics in a specific timeframe.

## Adding new reporting rule <a href="#id-account-reporting-addingnewreportingrule" id="id-account-reporting-addingnewreportingrule"></a>

To add a new reporting rule click on this button.

This will open a page with the following options.

### **Name of Reporting Rule**

Defines the name of the reporting rule.

### **Reporting Types**

Defines for which service the report will be generated:

* WebDDoS
* WAF
* Bot Management
* CDN
* Network DDoS

*Choosing an option opens a field to select for which instances report shall be generated*

### **Select Instance/BGP Session**

After selecting a product, the Instances/BGP Sessions area can be used to specify for which instances or BGP sessions the report should be generated.

### **Recurring Period**

Selects the interval in which reports will be generated and sent (also decides what timeframe gets displayed).

### **Recipient Name**

Defines the name of the recipient.

### **Recipient Mail Address**

The email address to which the report will be sent (will be in pdf format).

### **Include Cover**

When enabled, a cover is added to the report.

### **Password Protection**

This password will be used to protect the pdf.

### Editing/Deleting Existing Reporting Rules <a href="#id-account-reporting-editing-deletingexistingreportingrules" id="id-account-reporting-editing-deletingexistingreportingrules"></a>

Clicking on the Edit Button opens a form with the rule for editing.&#x20;

Clicking on the Delete Button deletes the rule.
