## Overview

This page provides the administration of Contacts. These are people (or groups of people) who can receive [reports](/administration/account/interface/reporting.md), be notified when [alarms](/administration/account/interface/alarming.md) occur, and so on.

It contains two primary categories of settings:

* The ways to contact the person/group
* Whether or not the person/group is authorized to request configuration changes from the support team. (See an important warning about this below, under [Changes allowed](#changes-allowed)).

## Controls

### Add new contact

Opens the **Add new contact** window, described below.

### Changes allowed

This defines whether or not a contact can request configuration changes from the Link11 support team. If this is set to *not activated*, then the contact can only request information.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Please be aware if “Changes Allowed” is enabled, the contact is authorized to make any and all changes to the instance when contacting our support team via phone and email.

**The User Management or instance limitations configured in the WebGUI under Access Rights will not be taken into account.**
{% endhint %}

### Edit

Opens the **Edit contact** window, described below.

### Delete

Permanently deletes the contact.

{% hint style="info" %}
Please see warning [above](#changes-allowed) about the **Changes allowed** setting.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
Please be aware that an email address associated with an already created and saved contact is unalterable. Should the email address become obsolete, kindly delete the contact or create a new one.
